As you make your apartment decision, I hope you find a neighborhood as nice as German Village and it's surrounding neighborhoods.  There are few neigborhoods where only a short walk or even shorter drive will get you to great parks, a nature bike and jogging path and the neigborhood grocery and so many great restaurants and shops, and all the amenities of downtown.   My family members were among the earliest settlers here in German Village.  I am proud of that heritage.  I have been working in this area for decades both in managing our apartments here and as a historic building contractor (A 2ND ESTIMATE ROOFING COMPANY) specializing in renovation and repair of these beautiful historic buildings.
